Cyprus begins accepting applications for Digital Nomad Visas

The Deputy Ministry of Migration and International Protection’s Migration Department has announced the start of the application process for the provision of residence permits through the Digital Nomads Scheme (Cyprus Digital Nomad Visa).

As the announcement states, the Scheme aims to attract nationals from countries outside the European Union (EU) and outside the European Economic Area (EEA), and allows them to reside in Cyprus on the condition that their services are provided through information technologies for companies or clients established abroad.

"The purpose of the Scheme is to strengthen Cyprus as a centre for the provision of electronic services, where, in combination with the other advantages offered by Cyprus, the attraction of digital nomads will contribute to the development of the business ecosystem and, consequently, to the economic development of the country," it notes.

The Migration Department invites those interested in more information to visit its website , where the relevant application forms are also posted.
