Meetings underway for Cyprus’ 18th post-bailout surveillance review

Cyprus 18th post-bailout surveillance review is underway in Nicosia, with meetings scheduled to take place from 17 until 20 March between representatives of the European Commission, European Central Bank, European Stability Mechanism, International Monetary Fund and competent Cypriot authorities.

The Ministry of Finance said that the meetings are being held to assess the economic, fiscal, and financial situation of the country.

To this end, it added, meetings will be held with officials from the competent Cypriot authorities during which, as is customary, issues of economic, fiscal, and financial interest will be discussed.
