ClimateLaunchpad green business ideas competition returns with its 12th edition

ClimateLaunchpad, the world’s largest green business ideas competition, is back with its 12th edition, and is seeking new talents in green technology and innovation.

Anyone who dreams of starting their own business and wants to develop and grow their green idea into a profitable, viable and global business, will have the opportunity to submit their idea by 30 March 2025, by visiting https://climatelaunchpad.org/application-form/.

ClimateLaunchpad is a program by Climate-KIC Europe’s leading climate innovation agency and community, which aims to highlight the best cleantech ideas across the globe. ClimateLaunchpad was founded in 2014, with only 11 countries participating, including Cyprus. This year the competition is open and available in more than 25 countries.

Chrysalis LEAP, the first business idea accelerator, is the official organiser of ClimateLaunchpad for Cyprus.

The competition is set up to help aspiring entrepreneurs grow their green ideas into global businesses, and welcomes innovations in renewable energy, energy efficiency, food and agriculture, blue economy, transportation, industrial technology or any other sector that contributes to a more sustainable way of life.

The selected participants will start off their training with an intensive 2-day Boot Camp on the 28th & 29th of April, followed by 3 intensive follow-up coaching sessions to prepare for their National Finals, that will be organised in Cyprus in July. During the National Final, teams will present their business ideas to a renowned panel of judges, who will select the best teams to represent Cyprus at the Regional Final. The top teams from the Regional Final will compete in the Global Grand Final, which, after five years, will once again be held in person. The Global Grand Final will take place in the fall in Vienna, Austria.
