Deputy Minister Evangelou to discuss employment of people with disabilities in Digital Europe

The Deputy Minister for Social Welfare, Marilena Evangelou, is participating in a Ministerial Conference on "The Future of Employment in Digital Europe" organised by the Polish Presidency of the Council of the EU in Gdańsk.

According to a statement, the Deputy Minister is participating in a roundtable discussion on the topic: "Enhancing public awareness of the opportunities and prospects of persons with disabilities in the labour market. The role of the media in their struggle for independent living".

Evangelou returns to Cyprus on Saturday, 22 February, the statement concludes.
