Kombos in Brussels for EU Foreign Affairs Council

Foreign Affairs Minister Constantinos Kombos is in Brussels where he will participate in the work of the European Union (EU) Foreign Affairs Council.

According to a Ministry of Foreign Affairs press release, the focus of the Council's discussions on 27 January will be on the ongoing Russian aggression against Ukraine, EU-US relations, the situation in the Middle East, current developments in Georgia and Moldova, as well as hybrid threats.

It is added that in the margins of the Council, Kombos will also have meetings with European Commissioner for Preparedness, Crisis Management and Equality Hadja Lahbib, Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos, Commissioner for the Mediterranean Dubravka Suica, Commissioner for Fisheries and Oceans Costas Kadis and Cypriot MEPs.
