Contracts signed for €993,650 Paphos 'Laiki Yitonia' upgrade

Another important project to upgrade the area of ​​the Municipal Market of Paphos has been put into motion with the signing of the contract, for the construction of a metal roof to fully cover the ‘Laiki Yitonia’ area within the city's market area.

More specifically the coverage will involve Bank of Cyprus, Agora, Nicolaides, Miaouli streets and part of Kyriakou Mavrou Street.

According to a statement issued by the Municipality, this contract aims to strengthen the commerciality of the area throughout the year, both in the summer and winter months, creating a more attractive environment for businesses, attracting more visitors and improving the quality of life of the residents of the area.

The Mayor of Paphos, Phedon Phedonos, and the CEO of Alpha Ioannou Construction Ltd, Anthimos Ioannou, signed the contracts on behalf of the contracting parties.

The total amount of the contract amounts to €993,650 including VAT.

The duration of the execution of the project is eight months from the start date of the project, the announcement concludes.
