UNIC gets to work upgrading equine clinic at Nicosia Race Club

The University of Nicosia's (UNIC) School of Veterinary Medicine has got to work on upgrading the equine clinic at Nicosia Race Club, the agreement for which was signed last October.

According to UNIC, under the terms of the agreement, the School of Veterinary Medicine will manage the clinic, which will also serve as an educational and research centre for the School.

It is added that this partnership aims to enhance the clinic's infrastructure and equipment, thereby improving the quality of care provided to horses.

In short, the upgrade is expected to benefit the equine industry while also contributing to the veterinary students’ training at University of Nicosia.

Despite ongoing renovation work, the clinic will remain operational. The project is scheduled for completion by Autumn 2024.
