Human Resource Development Authority continues schemes for workers and the unemployed

In a constantly changing work environment, the training of both the unemployed and the employed is becoming more and more valuable.

In this context, the Human Resource Development Authority, as the responsible body for the promotion of vocational training in Cyprus, has developed a modern and flexible training system, adapting to the labour market’s rapid developments.

According to information provided to InBusinessNews by the Authority, this year it is running a total of 15 schemes, based on three pillars, with a total budget of €45,831,381 and from which 91,925 persons are anticipated to benefit.

More specifically, and according to the Authority, the upgrading of the country's human resources is expected to be achieved through the integration of the unemployed and inactive workers into employment, the lifelong learning of the employed, as well as the encouragement of individuals to acquire knowledge and skills throughout their working life.
