Investment funds in Cyprus on the rise

There has been an ongoing increase in the number of investment funds in Cyprus, according to data released by the Central Bank.

As announced by the Central Bank, the number of investment organisations in the country increased from 328 in March 2024 to 330 in June 2024.

As a result of this increase, the total assets of investment institutions increased by 0.9% to €6,848.7 million in June 2024, compared to €6,789.1 million in March 2024, the Central Bank of Cyprus said.

In particular, €784.7 million concern deposits and loans, €596.8 million securities other than shares, €4,944.4 million shares and other equity, €362.1 million non-financial assets and €160.6 million remaining assets.
