The MoU outlines several areas of cooperation, including the exchange of visits, staff, and students, fostering cooperative research, and co-sponsoring seminars, conferences, and workshops. The MoU also includes the mutual dissemination of academic publication materials and other information, cooperation in training projects for specified areas of development, and the implementation of programs sponsored by both countries.

Professor Achilles C. Emilianides, Dean of the School of Law, and Professor Li Juqian, Director of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, signed the MoU on behalf of their respective institutions during the signing ceremony.

CUPL is one of the most selective universities in China, having achieved the highest status “A+” in legal studies, as evaluated by the Chinese Ministry of Education.
