"S29" is the name of EKKY Studio Architects’ new completed project in Nicosia; a villa boasting a combination of simple, well blended materials and a strong connection between the indoor and outdoor spaces.
Architects Elina Kritikou and Kenzo Yamashita are behind the 300 sq. m. residential property, along with the Design Team Aimilios Kourafas.

According to EKKY Studio Architects, the house has a contemporary character, with unobstructed views of the garden, maximum sunlight, adequate privacy, and transparency.

“The house and its outdoor areas face Southwest, with linear elements directing all focus toward the exterior and interior gardens,” it says.

“By extending the linear exterior elements to the limits of the plot, we take full advantage of the plot area to create quality outdoor spaces. By connecting the inside with the outside, we create a transparent design - the spaces become larger as the interior becomes one with the exterior. bringing more light and nature into the interior.”

The garden is one of the most important elements of the house, as all the main spaces have views towards it. The outdoor spaces, including the barbecue area, garden, and swimming pool appear to be extending out of the interior spaces.

The Interior garden is also an important feature, as it blends the interior with the exterior and brings light into the house. It separates the kitchen from the living area and provides views of the staircase and master bedroom.
