Limassol Chamber appoints Anthia Papageorgiou as Secretary/Director

Limassol Chamber of Commerce & Industry has appointed Anthia Papageorgiou as its new Secretary/Director.

A relevant LinkedIn post notes that Papageorgiou has for close to 20 years provided dedicated service and made an outstanding contribution to the Chamber as a Senior Officer.

“During her employment at the Limassol Chamber of Commerce & Industry she was responsible for Europe Direct in Limassol for three years, gaining knowledge and experience in European issues and is the author and co-author of publications published on issues related to the European Union. Mrs. Papageorgiou also specialises in the Services and Trade sectors and participates in relevant government and other committees,” the post goes on to say.

Anthia Papageorgiou replaces the retired Secretary/Director Christos Anastasiades who, during his tenure, the Chamber’s LinkedIn post adds “had been a catalyst in developing and promoting the interests of the Limassol business community.”
