Trilogy: The Plaza Opening

Something special is unfolding on the Limassol seafront: a new destination, a diverse community that exists in harmony with the city.

The highly anticipated delivery of Trilogy’s iconic upfront towers is already underway, with office and apartment owners taking possession of their sky-rise properties. This milestone also signifies the completion of a 6,850m² public realm, currently preparing to welcome us all this summer.

The Plaza is the beating heart of Trilogy. It has a personality and vibe unlike anywhere else in Cyprus. With the buzz of a European city and the trimmings of Mediterranean life by the sea, it is home to a carefully curated neighbourhood of food and beverage establishments: Greek cuisine at the West Tower, an urban food court with artisan creations adjacent to the shops and hair salon, and fine dining at the East Tower – Trilogy’s flagship restaurant and bar.

Destined to become a go-to destination, a meeting point for foodies, travellers, and explorers from all corners of the island and beyond, the Plaza is defined by Trilogy’s sense of togetherness. “We really put our heart and soul into identifying the best team for this space. It was critical we approached the kind of talent that speaks to our brand ethos and aligns with our concept. We wanted passion, attention to detail and authenticity; individuals with a drive for that fresh multi-national edge that is true to today’s Limassol, its diverse community and lifestyle. We went on the search for international know-how and Mediterranean flair. We were thrilled that Chef Athinagoras Kostakos came on board as our Culinary Director with his team and that we partnered with Athens’ ‘The Clumsies’ to create our unique cocktail menu,” explained Michalis Hadjipanayiotou, Executive Director of Trilogy.

Athinagoras Kostakos is one of the most well-known Chefs in Greece. His breadth of experience as an operator, partner and culinary director has seen him lead countless successful projects globally. These include ‘Bacchanalia’ in London’s Mayfair, ‘Mazi’ in Notting Hill, ‘Meraki’ in London, Riyadh and Porto Cervo, ‘Soho House’ in Malibu and ‘Lyra’ in Chicago. His award-winning gastronomical expertise and unwavering dedication are also behind ‘Noema’, ‘Scorpios’, ‘Branco’ and ‘Soho House’ in Mykonos, where his journey began as head chef at ‘Bill and Coo’. His invaluable skillset is being coupled with that of the team behind ‘The Clumsies’, a bar in central Athens that has been awarded in the top 50 bars of the world for seven consecutive years. The Clumsies’ focus on ingredients, impeccable execution of a recipe, and connection with customers, continues to put a creative spin on extraordinary cocktails with distinctive tastes.

“This is the new perspective we wanted for Limassol,” continues Michalis. “Trilogy’s live-work-play attitude, will be reflected in the energy and optimism of everything this F&B team of experts brings to the table.” Managed and operated by Lanitis Entertainment Ltd, the West Tower’s restaurant and the food court will be open this summer. The East Tower’s flagship restaurant and bar, being designed by world-renowned Lambs and Lions Studio in Berlin, will follow in September along with the shops and hair salon.
