Cyprus companies celebrate Tsiknopempti with souvlakia, music, and fancy dress (pics)

As companies around Cyprus celebrate Tsiknopempti or Smoky Thursday with barbeques, music and fancy dress, IMH could not help but join in.

Tsiknopempti is part of the traditional celebrations of Apókries, the Greek (and Cypriot) Carnival season. It falls on the second to last Thursday before Lent and can be translated as Charred Thursday or Smoky Thursday.
