Saudi Arabia recognises all Cypriot universities

Saudi Arabia recognises all universities operating in the Republic of Cyprus, as long as they are recognised by the Republic, and is expressing interest in collaborations within European programmes with third countries.

As stated in a letter sent from the Ministry of Education to the rectors of Cypriot universities, during a meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus in Riyadh, the Deputy Minister of Education of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed Alsudairy, informed the Cypriot side that Saudi Arabia now recognises all the universities operating in the Republic of Cyprus, as long as they are also recognised by the Republic of Cyprus.

In addition, it is noted that in the context of the meeting, there was a strong interest expressed in collaborations within the framework of European programmes with third countries.
