Limassol-based Playkot’s ‘Spring Valley’ celebrates over 11m installations

Limassol-based mobile game producer Playkot’s ‘Spring Valley’ has announced that its popular game Spring Valley has surpassed 11m installations.

A LinkedIn post from the company said, "Spring Valley never stops surprising us with news. We can't keep it to ourselves, so we're sharing it with you—our beloved Expedition has passed 10 million installations! Congratulations to the project team and virtual hugs to our players around the world!"

Spring Valley is described on Google Play as “an idyllic farm adventure game set in a picturesque valley. In this village game, you'll embark on an adventure farm like no other as you take on the role of a farmer and work to build up your farm story from the ground up.”

“You'll plant and harvest crops, raise animals, and complete quests and adventures as you explore the beautiful valleys in growing games. But this isn't just any ordinary farm game - it's an unusual farm adventure game filled with mysteries to be solved and secrets to be discovered in these valleys with virtual villagers,” the description continues.

Spring Valley by Playkot in March received a Chinese ISBN license, allowing them to launch the game in China on both iOS App Store and the local Android app stores. At the time, Spring Valley was one of only 27 foreign games licensed by the National Press and Publication Administration of China (NPPA).

Playkot was in 2023 also included in the inaugural list of Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50 for the Middle East and Cyprus.

Soon after, the co-founder and CEO of Playkot, Alexander Pavlov, told GOLD magazine about the company’s 2009 beginnings, with his business partner Oleg Sysoev. He also explained why the company chose to focus on mobile games. Click here to view the interview in GOLD magazine.
