Palestinian Foreign Minister paying working visit to Cyprus

Palestinian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Riyad al-Maliki, will pay a working visit to Cyprus on 14 February at the invitation of Cypriot Minister of Foreign Affairs, Constantinos Kombos.

According to an official press release, in the framework of his visit, he will hold a tête-à-tête meeting with the Cypriot Foreign Minister followed by extended consultations with the participation of delegations from the two Ministries.

Discussions will focus on the developments in the Middle East, bilateral relations as well as the latest developments in the Cyprus issue.

The two Ministers will then make statements to the press. Kombos will also host a working lunch for his Palestinian counterpart.

During his stay on the island, al-Maliki will also be received by the President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides.
