President Nikos Christodoulides has congratulated Donald Trump on his election and said that he is looking forward to continue working with the US on expanding and reinforcing the strategic partnership between the two countries.

"Congratulations US President-elect @realDonaldTrump on your election victory. I look forward to continue working on expanding and reinforcing the strategic partnership between Cyprus and the US, and advancing our transatlantic relationship", President Nikos Christodoulides wrote on the X platform.
