China-Cyprus trade at one billion dollars in 2023, Chinese Ambassador says

The total trade in goods between China and Cyprus was close to 1 billion U.S. dollars in 2023, China's Ambassador to Cyprus Liu Yantao has said in a post on "X".

Ambassador Liu wrote that Cyprus has participated in the China International Import Expo (CIIE) for seven consecutive years, noting that "the total trade in goods between China and Cyprus was close to 1 billion U.S. dollars in 2023".

He further stated that as China continues to expand its opening up to the world and China-Cyprus economic and trade cooperation continues to deepen, more and more high-quality products from Cyprus are expected to enter the Chinese market.
