Dr. Christoforos Hadjikyprianou named Chairman of Logicom’s Board of Directors

The Board of Directors of Logicom has appointed non-executive, independent director Dr. Christoforos Hadjikyprianou as the Board's new Chairman, on a temporary basis and with effect from 9 October.

Hadjikyprianou is a Fulbright scholar and holds a BSc in Industrial Technology and a postgraduate MBA from Southern Illinois University in the United States of America.

He also holds a PhD from Middlesex University, UK. He has many years of experience in executive management and over 30 years of experience in the field of university education.

Hadjikyprianou specialises in areas such as organisational leadership, growth strategy, operational effectiveness, change management, performance optimization and mergers/acquisitions.

Currently, he is the CEO and President of the Council of the European University of Cyprus. He is also a member of the Executive Committee of Galileo Global Education.

He previously served as CEO of Laureate Cyprus and member of the Executive Committee for Laureate Europe.

Hadjikyprianou is a strong supporter of sustainability in the field of university education and his goal is to turn Cyprus into a quality education center.

He has been honored with the Man of the Year award in Services for 2018 and the Business Leader in Services Award from the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry for 2023.

He has been a member of the Board of Directors of Logicom Public Limited since 2020.

Among others positions, he is also a judge of the European Business Awards and the QS Reimagine Education Awards, and is a member of the Cyprus-Jordan Association and the Cyprus-East & South East Asia Association. In addition, he participates in various social and sports committees and performs the duties of Secretary General of the Cyprus University Sports Federation.
