Medochemie extends humanitarian aid to Gaza civilians

Medochemie is actively supporting the civilian population in the Gaza Strip, dispatching a shipment of 10 tons of injectable hospital antibiotics and paediatric medicines to local medical facilities.

Medochemie Ltd is a multinational generics pharmaceutical and consumer healthcare company headquartered in Limassol. Medochemie develops, licenses, manufactures, markets, and distributes branded generic products as well as their own patented brands.

According to a press release from the company, the shipment was sent in collaboration with the NGO Cyprus Stop Trafficking, the assistance from Volunteer Doctors Cyprus, and the support of Polly Ioannou, Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus in Cairo.

The 10 tons of medicines have been shipped from the port in Limassol and have arrived in Egypt aiming to reach final destination in the next few days, the press release noted.
