Afternoon event by ACEMPI in the presence of the Governor of the Cyprus Central Bank

The Association of Cyprus Electronic Money and Payment Institutions Cyprus (ACEMPI) plays a significant role in the economy.

The Association promotes and develops the electronic money sector in Cyprus, while also enhancing cooperation among all stakeholders.

In addition to supporting the successful development of the sector, by examining and analyzing all issues related to the industry and their impact on individual and collective institutions, ACEMPI focuses on protecting and representing the rights and professional interests of its members.

As part of its activities and continuous engagement with its members and the wider public, the Association is organizing an afternoon event.

The event will take place on Thursday, September 28, 2023, at 17:00, at Residence by Occhio.

The event will be addressed by the Governor of the Central Bank of Cyprus, Constantinos Herodotou, the President of the Association of Cyprus Electronic Money and Payment Institutions Cyprus (ACEMPI), Ioannis Georgoulas, and Patrick Papsdorf, Head of the Payments Oversight Department at the European Central Bank.

A cocktail reception will be held after the speeches.

Audience

The event is addressed to Members of ACEMPI, Board Members, CEOs, CFOs, COOs, CROs, Managing Directors, Finance Directors and other senior executives from the financial sector. The event will also welcome representatives from relevant local regulatory bodies and governmental authorities.
