RIF: Networking workshops to boost cooperation between research and business communities

The Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF) is holding a series of networking workshops, aimed at promoting collaboration between the research and business communities, encouraging them to jointly submit proposals under RIF's new funding programme, “Co-Develop”.

The workshops offer a unique opportunity for enterprises and research organisations to exchange views, present their ideas, as well as identify and explore new partnership opportunities.

The workshops will focus on the following sectors:

  • 19 September 2023 (9:00-11:00): Agrofood
  • 19 September 2023 (12:00-14:00): Maritime and Shipping Ecosystems
  • 25 September 2023 (10:00-12:00): Health

It should be noted that the €7.3m Co-Develop programme aims to form collaborations, make use of existing know-how and produce new technological solutions to address challenges in the three sectors above.

During the workshops, each participant will be able to briefly present their idea and/or their organisation, while free networking to follow is expected to facilitate new connections and productive discussions among participants.

Interested parties can register here by Monday, 18 September 2023 at 13:00. It is noted that there is a limited number of seats, which will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Participation is free of charge.
