Cisalpina Tours opens office in Cyprus

Italian TMC Cisalpina Tours has opened a new office in Limassol, to target the maritime and shipping industry.

The move is part of the group’s aggressive growth plans and marks the fifth international office opening since December 2022 following recent expansion in Turkey, the US and South America.

The company, part of the Bluvacanze Group, is owned by shipping giant MSC Group, which has a “consolidated presence” in Cyprus. CEO Domenico Pellegrino said this established presence will “pave the way for us to develop our own business travel unit that will specifically cater to customers of the marine sector”.

Cisalpina Tours Cyprus managing director, Vaso Nikola Leonidou, added: “We know the needs of corporate travellers. The team's expertise and years of professionalism will provide genuine added value to clients.”

The company, which is among the top three TMCs in Italy in BTN Europe’s Leading TMCs 2023 rankings, said further growth is planned across Europe in the second half of 2023, followed by the establishment of an office in Durban, South Africa.
