Cyprus President congratulates New Democracy President

Cyprus President Nikos Christodoulides has congratulated New Democracy President Kyriakos Mitsotakis for his win in the Greek elections.

In a post on Twitter, President Christodoulides said that he had communicated with Mitsotakis and congratulated him.

"We will meet in Brussels in the coming days and he will visit Cyprus soon," the President wrote.

The elections took place on 25 June.
