The Corporate Sustainability & Responsibility Awards will take place in July

Performance in environmental and social issues is becoming increasingly important. Sustainable development is a global priority that has mobilised governments, civil society, and businesses to adopt new practices.

The new reality has highlighted the need for organisations to embrace more resilient models, and our country is part of this change.

More and more businesses in Cyprus recognise the need to invest in ESG indicators as they can help them achieve long-term sustainability and increased value. At the same time, organisations operating in our country adopt proper ESG policies and directly contribute to global climate change management efforts.

In this context, the non-profit organisation CSR Cyprus, in collaboration with the Cooperative Societies and Social Enterprises Service, the relevant public authority of the Republic of Cyprus for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), is organising the Corporate Sustainability & Responsibility Awards.

The awards aim to promote Cypriot businesses that address issues concerning themselves and their stakeholders through the development of sustainability and responsibility initiatives. The submitted Best Practices will be evaluated by an Evaluation Committee based on the following criteria: Strategic Approach, Practice Implementation, Practice Results. Entities engaged in business activities in Cyprus participated in the competition.

The "Cypriot Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) & Sustainability Awards" will be presented on July 7, 2023, at the Hilton Nicosia hotel, as part of the 15th Conference on Corporate Sustainability & Responsibility.
