AUB Mediterraneo’s first Cyprus event: “Conversations with Executives”

The American University of Beirut – Mediterraneo (AUB Mediterraneo) has announced its first event in Cyprus, two “Conversations with Executives”, at its campus in Paphos.

The six-day residency session of the Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) degree programme of AUB’s Suliman S. Olayan School of Business (OSB) was launched this week. The EMBA will feature two more OSB “Conversations with Executives” on 11 and 12 May.

Senior officials and leaders from the Cypriot government, local organisations and the American University of Beirut will take part in discussions addressing topics such as promoting innovation and research in digital technologies, consolidating research partnerships between the public and private sectors, developing innovation hubs, cybersecurity, among many other.

AUB Mediterraneo will accept its first students in September, after the Council of Ministers ratified its certification and officially included the university in Cyprus’ list of Higher Education Institutions.

It is headquartered in Paphos and will run its own campus that is currently being built in the Carob Mills area. The campus is expected to be completed and delivered in October; so the university will operate in the fully-equipped premises of the Paphos Innovation Centre until then.
