17th Real Estate & Construction Conference & Exhibition: Happening in Nicosia

The 17th Real Estate & Construction Conference & Exhibition is taking place at the Hilton Nicosia hotel on Wednesday, with a number of distinguished speakers discussing the current trends and challenges facing the local property and building sectors.

This year’s event will look at the 2023 trends in the real estate and land development sector, sustainable buildings of the future, the digital upgrade of the real estate sector and the challenges currently facing the construction sector.

The 17th edition of the conference and exhibition will be opened by Coordinator Michalis Hadjipanayiotou, Chairman of the Cyprus Land and Building Developers Association and CEO at Cybarco Development Ltd. It will also be addressed by Interior Minister Constantinos Ioannou, who will analyse the new government’s priorities for the real estate sector, in its aim to upgrade and modernise the way it functions.

The main speakers will include John Christodoulou, Chairman and Owner of Yianis Group Ltd, and Kritonas Onisiforou, Head of Sales at Altia, while there will also be a round-table discussion entitled: “Cyprus as a destination for international businesses and the implications for the Real Estate sector” with panelists Yiangos Zinonos, Property & Public Affairs Manager at Exness, Yannis Matsis, Managing Director, Head of Cyprus at MUFG Investor Services and Yiannis Misirlis, Founding Director of Imperio Group.

Considered the most important annual gathering for real estate, land development and construction professionals in Cyprus, the event will include presentations, discussions, assessments and analyses on the most recent market developments and trends.

It is directed at land developers, real estate agencies, contractors and construction companies, architects, civil engineers, interior designers, geotechnical engineers, engineers, mechanical engineers, transport engineers, environmental engineers, electrical engineers, building inspectors, surveyors, urban and regional planners, lighting and sound engineers, banks and other financial institutions, accounting/auditing/tax offices, law firms, fund and asset management companies, investors and relevant government agencies and regulatory authorities.
