Tourism Deputy Minister in Poland to hold meetings to boost arrivals

Deputy Minister of Tourism Kostas Koumis has departed for Poland, where he will hold a series of meetings with tourism the heads of tour operators with travel packages to Cyprus.

During the meetings, discussions are expected to focus on current developments concerning the Polish market, as well as the reinforcement of the presence of these organisations in Cyprus.

By end-October 2023, arrivals from Poland to Cyprus exceeded 240,000, a significant increase from 164,000 arrivals in the corresponding period last year.

In total, 3.5 tourist million arrivals to Cyprus were recorded in the first ten months of the year, marking a 21.1% increase on an annual basis. Revenues until the end of August show a 25.4% increase, and a new revenue record is expected.
