Kinisis Fund I portfolio company Threedium closes their $11,000,000 Series A round

Threedium Ltd, one of Kinisis Ventures Fund I portfolio companies has successfully closed their Series A round.

The round was led by two global giants, Olma Capital, a luxury tech fund, and IPG (Interpublic Group), a publicly listed NY Stock Exchange company. Alongside them, a number of existing and new institutional and private investors, including Kinisis Ventures Fund I, joined the round showing incredible confidence and support for Threedium’s vision and trajectory, a relevant press release notes.

“Threedium’s technology is already actively redefining today’s and tomorrow’s multidimensional web–commerce experience,” said Andreas Panayi, KV Co-founder. “Even back in 2019, when we first met Mike Charalambous and the rest of the team, their 3D / AR technology stood out from an international pack of competitors”.

Threedium was one of the first additions to the Kinisis Ventures Fund I portfolio. “They had a clearly articulated vision and roadmap from the very beginning, and it is great to see them work diligently to meet and exceed their own expectations,”added Yiannos Georgiades, KV Co-founder.

Threedium has grown into a team of 40 professionals with an established presence in the UK, USA, SV, and CY. Working with clients and partners across Europe, North America and ASIA, they have earned their “seat” at the Web3 luxury commerce thought-leadership table, while their management team is often the voice of industry insights. “Our team, brand, technology, and work product are widely recognized and our roster of global clients such as Diageo, Farfetch, ASICS, Adidas, FENDI, Bulgari, Dior, Tommy Hilfiger and many others, partnered with us to re-define the future of web-commerce,” said Mike Charalambous, Threedium Co-founder and CEO.

“The additional capital will support our continued global growth, expand our technical resources, and fuel our team’s unbridled quest for innovation. Completing our Series A is an important step toward achieving our vision,” added Charalambous.

Raising money in a relatively tough global market is not a walk in the park. The last few years investment markets have been a roller-coaster ride for money raising, which makes an already complex task even more stressful, resource-draining, and character-building exercise.

“When your vision, roadmap, team and commercial traction, line up with your narrative, investors will pay attention”, said Chris Droussiotis, KV Senior Partner. “And this is not a line out of my recent Investment Strategies book. I saw it again in real-time while participating in most of the critical Threedium Series A investor calls as their acting CFO,” he added.
