CBC Governor to have bilateral meetings during World Bank and IMF annual meetings

The Governor of the Central Bank of Cyprus (CBC), Constantinos Herodotou, is to hold bilateral talks with officials from the IMF and other international financial organisations, on domestic and international developments.

According to a CBC announcement, the talks will take place during the Annual Meetings of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) this week in Marrakesh, Morocco.

The 2023 Meetings focus on the measures that need to be adopted to end poverty on a livable planet, the intertwined global challenges, the solutions for the developing countries, as well as how to boost jobs, digital infrastructure, and climate action, the CBC announcement said.

It added that, during the Meetings, the Governor will hold bilateral talks with officials from the IMF and other international financial organisations, on domestic and international developments.
