CPM celebrated its 30th anniversary with a cocktail reception at The Landmark Hotel in Nicosia on September 24, reflecting on its milestones, its international relationships and the next stage of its development. Shareholders, clients, business partners, colleagues and friends gathered to mark three decades in business and to look ahead to the group’s plans for the future.
The occasion paid tribute to the employees, former colleagues, clients, partners and shareholders whose dedication and support have shaped the firm. It also acknowledged the relationships and know-how built over three decades, which will continue to underpin the firm’s plans, guided by integrity, client service, respect and adaptability.
CPM was established in 1996 under the name Cyproman Services Limited. Over thirty years, the firm has grown from a specialist provider of corporate services into a group offering a wide range of professional and advisory services to companies, investors and entrepreneurs, both in Cyprus and abroad.
Thirty years of evolution
In its first years, CPM concentrated on helping international companies set up and operate in Cyprus. As the 2000s progressed, the firm built up specialist knowledge in company management, fiduciary work and cross-border corporate arrangements, working with investors active in fields such as shipping, property, energy, aviation and investment.
The period from 2009 to 2015 saw the group adopt the new brand and corporate identity as CPM, a change that mirrored the growing international scope of its work. Accounting, banking assistance, compliance reviews, HR consulting and corporate advisory work were added to its services as regulatory demands around the world became more complex. In 2009, CPM also launched CPF, a dedicated fund administration arm created to serve the expanding Cypriot investment funds market.
A growing focus on wealth and family office services
After 2015, the group turned increasing attention to investment and trust arrangements, estate and wealth planning, and the running of family offices. The shift was driven by international business owners and investors who needed joined-up support to oversee their business interests, safeguard their wealth and prepare for the transfer of assets to the next generation.
For CPM, the family office is a strategic instrument rather than an administrative function. Operationally, the firm consolidates a family’s financial and administrative affairs within a single, coordinated structure, providing full visibility and decisive control over assets held across multiple jurisdictions. It also brings together governance, oversight of investments, legal planning and the cultivation of key alliances, equipping families to preserve their wealth, mitigate risk and secure their legacy for generations to come.
Global mobility and international reach
Between 2018 and 2023, CPM significantly expanded its immigration and relocation capabilities, enabling business owners, investors and professionals to establish and grow their presence in Cyprus. Its services cover investor residence permits, family reunification, employment permits for non-EU nationals and pathways for highly qualified professionals. Demand has been further strengthened by Cyprus’s highly competitive intellectual property tax regime, which continues to attract technology and research-driven enterprises to the island.
Over the same period, the group accelerated its international business development. In 2021, CPM became a founding member of Delphi Alliance, a professional network that significantly extended its cross-border capabilities and reach.
Emerging markets and a people-first culture
Between 2023 and 2025, CPM made India a strategic priority, capitalising on the country’s thriving start-up ecosystem and accelerating outward investment. As an EU member state with a robust legal system, Cyprus offers Indian companies an effective launchpad for expansion into Europe.
In parallel, the group deepened its relationships with Swiss asset managers, strengthening its links with one of the continent’s foremost banking and wealth management centres. Together, these initiatives advance CPM’s goal of connecting clients with opportunities across jurisdictions.
Internally, CPM achieved Great Place to Work certification, a distinction awarded on the basis of its employees’ own assessments. The recognition reflects the firm’s sustained investment in its people and in a workplace founded on trust and collaboration.
The next chapter
Entering its fourth decade, CPM will continue with its commitment to expand its international partnerships, pursue opportunities in emerging markets and further strengthen its family office and advisory capabilities, while continuing to invest in its people, expertise and systems.
International expansion remains a core priority. The group will deepen its collaboration with partners abroad and extend the range of jurisdictions in which it serves clients. It will also build on its established relationships in Switzerland and India, positioning Cyprus as a strategic channel for investment between these markets and the European Union.
Family office services will remain at the heart of the group’s strategy. As international families place growing emphasis on succession, governance and long-term wealth preservation, CPM will further enhance its ability to manage the full scope of their personal and business interests across generations.
