Ioannides Demetriou LLC and Nobel Trust are proud to have sponsored the Legal 500 GC Powerlist: Greece & Cyprus 2026.
The publication recognises the leading in-house legal professionals across the region. This is the fourth consecutive year that Ioannides Demetriou has sponsored the Powerlist, and the firm and Nobel Trust were pleased to support it together, alongside Andersen Legal. The publication was launched at an event at the Aigli Zappeiou in Athens, where General Counsel and in-house legal leaders from Greece and Cyprus came together to celebrate the recognised professionals.
In her welcome address, Christina Ioannidou, Partner at Ioannides Demetriou LLC, said this year’s theme was ΚΟΣΜΟΣ, a Greek word meaning both “world” and “order”, and that the theme reflects the role of today’s General Counsel: bringing order to complexity across new rules on artificial intelligence, digital resilience and sustainability, fast-changing sanctions, and rising board expectations. “The power we recognise here is of a particular kind,” she said. “It is measured not by what one holds, but by what one sustains: companies that last, reputations that stay intact, and decisions others can build on.”
