Top App Games reports $29 million in first-half gross turnover, reaches 12 million players

Limassol-based mobile game developer Top App Games Ltd. announced in a press release that LUDUS: Merge Arena generated $29 million in gross turnover in the first half of 2026, while its cumulative worldwide player base has surpassed 12 million.

The figure totals $14,802,347 in the second quarter, making it the strongest quarter in the game's history and marking a 5.2% increase over Q1.

At the second-quarter pace, annualised gross turnover would total approximately $59.2 million. This figure illustrates the game’s current scale rather than a forecast for full-year results.

“LUDUS is now a stable, compounding business, and that stability is what lets us invest in bigger content, bigger collaborations and our next titles,” said Vladimir Markov, CEO and Studio Head of Top App Games Ltd.

The milestone follows a sustained expansion of both the game and its community. In July, Top App Games reported that LUDUS had reached more than 11 million players and expanded its roster from 25 heroes at soft launch to more than 100. Subsequent growth has brought the cumulative audience past 12 million.

In July 2026, LUDUS recorded 765,684 monthly active users and an average of 127,491 daily active users. Players opened more than 403,000 sessions per day, equivalent to approximately 3.2 sessions per daily active user. The company also reported a payer conversion rate of 5.1%.

Over successive updates, Top App Games has expanded LUDUS beyond its original merge-and-battle loop. Clan Wars introduced coordinated competition between clans, Hero Perks added ways to customize individual heroes, and Divisions brought a new structure to seasonal competitive play. Crossovers, including the collaboration with Corvus Belli’s Warcrow, have added new characters and events.

Alongside its engagement figures, Top App Games reported M0 gross return on advertising spend of 31.6% in July 2026, measuring gross revenue generated relative to user acquisition spending in the acquisition month.

“What stands out in these numbers is the consistency,” said Vladimir Nikolsky, CEO of Utmost Games and investor in Top App Games.

“A game that holds three-quarters of a million monthly players and converts them at this rate has moved beyond being a hit — it is infrastructure the studio can build a portfolio on.”

Top App Games plans further content updates, seasonal competitive events and platform expansions for LUDUS in the second half of 2026.

Beyond LUDUS, the studio has already completed development on two unannounced titles, which will be unveiled soon.
