The relations between Cyprus and the United States are currently at the highest level they have ever been, the Presidency of the Republic said on Tuesday, adding that the cooperation between the two countries has been continuously expanding.
The Presidency said in a post on platform X that "the relations between Cyprus and the United States are currently at the highest level they have ever been." It also emphasised that "the initiation of the Cyprus-U.S. Strategic Dialogue and the historic visit of the President of the Republic to the White House, the first in 28 years, were significant milestones in upgrading bilateral relations and opened a new chapter in the cooperation between the two countries."
"Since then, cooperation has been continuously expanding, from defence and security to energy, economy, education, and technology, creating new opportunities for Cyprus and strengthening the country's position," the Presidency pointed out, adding that "in this course, the economic dimension of the relationship and the prospects created through attracting investments gain particular importance."

"The targeted contacts of the President of the Republic in New York, Texas, and Silicon Valley for attracting investments have already yielded specific results, paving the way for new investments and collaborations in Cyprus," the Presidency of the Republic said.
It further noted that "the interest of leading American companies, including Amazon, NVIDIA, and Plug and Play, and the presence of some of them, just a year later, already in Cyprus, constitute a tangible vote of confidence in the prospects of the Cypriot economy and create new opportunities in the fields of technology, innovation, and high-value-added investments."
"And it is precisely this course that is sought to be continued and strengthened, creating even more prospects for Cyprus and its citizens," the Presidency of the Republic concluded.
