“The clear objective of the Government’s financial policy is for economic growth to turn into progress for society and citizens,” the President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides stated in a post on the platform X on Thursday showcasing a Cyprus Statistical Service graph on the latest employment data.
He added that growth must “translate into more jobs, more opportunities and greater security for every citizen and every family”, noting that “this is the essence of an economy that grows with stability and prospects”.
The President also noted that the state of the labour market “confirms this trajectory precisely. More citizens in work, more employment opportunities and an economy that creates prospects and security across all sectors."
