Passenger traffic on the Chisinau-Larnaca route increased by 192% in 2025 compared with 2024, SkyUp Airlines said on Thursday in an announcement.
The airline also announced it will continue operating the route, with tickets going on sale for summer 2027.
"We are particularly pleased to continue direct flights between Larnaca and Chisinau during the summer season of 2027, offering passengers a convenient way to travel between Cyprus and Moldova," said Dmytro Sieroukhov, CEO of SkyUp Airlines.
The company said the "continuation of the Larnaca-Chisinau route reflects growing demand for direct air connectivity between Cyprus and Moldova," adding that the flight period for the Chisinau-Larnaca route will run from 26 March to 30 October 2027.
"The direct connection will offer passengers a convenient travel option between Cyprus and Moldova during the summer period, boosting tourism, business travel, visits to friends and relatives and, more broadly, contacts between the citizens of the two countries," it added.
