Annual inflation in Cyprus is expected to stand at 4.0% in July 2026, according to preliminary data published by Eurostat on Friday.
According to Eurostat, Cyprus’ annual inflation rate, as measured by the Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices, edged down from 4.1% in June to 4.0% in July.
On a monthly basis, inflation in Cyprus is estimated at 0.3% in July 2026.
Eurostat’s figures show that inflation in Cyprus remained above the estimate for the euro area, where annual inflation is expected to rise to 2.9% in July, from 2.8% in June.
On an annual comparison, inflation in Cyprus was higher than in July 2025, when it stood at 0.1%.
During 2026, according to Eurostat data, annual inflation in Cyprus stood at 0.9% in February, 1.5% in March, 3.0% in April, 3.5% in May, 4.1% in June and 4.0% in July, based on a preliminary estimate.
