Industrial production in Cyprus remained unchanged in May 2026 on a monthly basis, following an increase of 0.1% in April. This was preceded by increases of 1.6% in March and 1.7% in January, as well as decreases of 2.3% in February and 1.5% in December 2025.
According to data published by Eurostat, on an annual basis industrial production in Cyprus increased by 2.5% in May 2026, compared with an increase of 1.5% in April. An increase of 2.5% had also been recorded in March, while in January there was an increase of 4.1% and in February a decrease of 1.8%.
According to Eurostat’s first estimates, seasonally adjusted industrial production decreased in May, compared with April, by 0.2% in the euro area and by 0.1% in the EU.
In April 2026, industrial production had increased by 0.3% in the euro area and by 0.2% in the EU. On an annual basis, that is compared with May 2025, industrial production decreased by 1.2% in the euro area and by 0.3% in the EU.
