On 18 July, from 9:00 to 11:00, City Friends Club organise the Bring Your Own Cup Day across Cyprus, with 19 coffee shops in Limassol, Paphos, Nicosia and Larnaca taking part. Anyone who brings a reusable cup to a participating café that morning will get a free coffee.
The event is part of Coffee Friends Club — a City Friends Club initiative running since May 2023, through which partner cafés offer a daily discount of up to 15% to anyone who come with their own cup. Bring Your Own Cup Day takes this further: for one morning, the coffee is completely free for everyone who skips a disposable cup.
Beyond the free coffee, the event has a playful twist: two City Friends Club mascot stickers have been hidden inside every participating café. Visitors who find one will receive prizes, including reusable cups, eco tote bags, desserts and other gifts from City Friends Club and participating coffee shops.

Coffee Friends Club is a City Friends Club initiative launched in May 2023. Partner cafés across Cyprus offer a daily discount of up to 15% to anyone who brings their own reusable cup — making sustainable choices easy and rewarding every day. Bring Your Own Cup Day is the initiative's signature offline event, where participating cafés go one step further and offer free coffee to everyone who shows up with their own cup. In 2025 alone, according to data provided by partner cafés, the initiative helped keep 25,000 disposable cups out of landfill.

About City Friends Club
City Friends Club (СFC) actively engages in daily street cleaning, organizes community cleanups and promotes eco-consciousness through a range of educational initiatives.
