Invest Cyprus announces the successful completion of the “Minds in Cyprus” Roadshow in the United Kingdom. Over two days and across two cities, the initiative brought Cyprus closer than ever to the Cypriot diaspora in Britain.
On 22 June, a Roundtable Discussion was held in Birmingham with 40+ Cypriot professionals, where participants discussed career prospects in Cyprus, tax incentives and practical facilitation measures for repatriation.
The following day, in London, more than 300 people attended the career fair, where 25 Cypriot companies presented more than 100 job positions. The majority of participants belonged to the 26-40 age group, highlighting the strong interest of young Cypriot professionals in the diaspora. The Deputy Minister to the President, Irene Piki, attended the event, while specialised officers from the Tax Department answered specific questions from attendees.
“It was a real honour to support the Minds in Cyprus UK Roadshow and to highlight Cyprus’ economic achievements, as well as the impact of foreign investment on the growth of the Cypriot economy. We were pleased to see the satisfaction of the participating companies regarding the quality of the candidates who attended the Career Fair. We look forward to the next event!” - Yangos Hadjiyannis, Vice Chairman, Invest Cyprus
Attending the event on behalf of Invest Cyprus were Vice Chairman Yangos Hadjiyannis, Deputy CEO Lia Riris and Investment Promotion Associate Aristotelis Aristotelous.
