'Where to Vote' service activated for Aglantzia deputy mayor by-election

The Ministry of Interior has activated the 'Where to Vote' service for the Aglantzia deputy mayor by-election, scheduled on Sunday, 28 June 2026.

Eligible voters are Cypriot citizens, including Turkish Cypriots who are resident in the government-controlled areas and EU citizens resident in Cyprus who have registered in the appropriate electoral rolls and are 18 by election day.

No objections were filed to the two candidacies, the Ministry said in a press release. Cypriots must vote with an electoral booklet or national ID; EU citizens may use an EU electoral booklet, national ID, or the document used for their registration.

Replacement electoral booklets for loss or damage can be issued until Friday 26 June 2026 at 14:00 from the Nicosia District Officer’s Office. Uncollected booklets may also be collected on election day.

Voters can find their assigned polling station via the 'Where to Vote' service at wtv.elections.moi.gov.cy or via elections.gov.cy by entering ID number and birth date (EU citizens enter the registration document number and birth date; hyphens in document numbers should be replaced with 00 or 000 to total ten digits).

A telephone information line is available at the Election Officer’s Office: 22 804 340 (working days 08:00–14:30 and on election day throughout voting hours). Voting will run from 07:00–18:00 (break 12:00–13:00).
