Cyprus was represented in the Dublin Tech Summit 2026 by the Cyprus Trade Centre of the Republic of Cyprus in London, in collaboration with Invest Cyprus and the Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry.
The Ministry said in a press release that the Cyprus pavilion attracted strong interest from technology company executives, investors, entrepreneurs and industry professionals from Europe and other markets during the 27-28 May event. It is also noted that visitors were informed about Cyprus' strategic advantages, the country's constantly developing innovation ecosystem, as well as the opportunities offered to businesses seeking to leverage the advantages of the single European market, while maintaining strong connectivity with international markets.
On the sidelines of the exhibition, the Ministry, the Cyprus Trade Centre London and Invest Cyprus, in collaboration with the Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus in Ireland, organised an event at the residence of the Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus in Dublin, Louis Telemachou. The event was attended by members of the technology and business community in Ireland and abroad, investors, entrepreneurs and other stakeholders of the innovation ecosystem, with the aim of strengthening business and investment ties between Cyprus and Ireland.
Ambassador Telemachou made a welcoming speech, while Ethan Pierse, a leading figure in the field of artificial intelligence, internationally recognized investor and entrepreneur, was the keynote speaker, who presented the latest developments in the field of artificial intelligence and digital transition. Pierse highlighted the crucial role that countries with flexible and competitive business environments can play in promoting innovation and sustainable economic growth.
As it is noted, the event offered significant networking and exchange opportunities among participants. “Cyprus’ presence at the Dublin Tech Summit 2026, combined with the organization of a parallel event in Dublin, further contributed to the country’s emergence as an attractive destination for technology companies, start-ups and innovative businesses, as well as for high-value-added international investments,” the Ministry noted.
The Dublin Tech Summit is among the most important international technology and innovation events in Europe, bringing together 8,000 participants from more than 70 countries, over 200 international speakers and approximately 160 exhibitors from the global technology and digital economy ecosystem.
