Nikolas Anastasiou has been appointed Chief Information Officer (CIO) at the Central Bank of Cyprus, following eight years at Logicom Solutions.

Anastasiou announced his departure from Logicom through a personal statement, reflecting on what he described as “one of the greatest privileges” of his professional life. He highlighted the milestones achieved, the collaborations formed, and the strong relationships built during his tenure, expressing gratitude to colleagues and leadership for their trust and support.

“Eight years. Countless milestones. Lifelong friendships. And now, a new chapter,” he noted, adding that the experience and lessons gained at Logicom will continue to accompany him moving forward.

Taking up his new role at the Central Bank of Cyprus this week, Anastasiou emphasised both the responsibility and opportunity that come with the position. “I take on this role with full awareness of the responsibility it entails and with genuine excitement for what lies ahead,” he stated.

He further underlined the significance of leading technological strategy within a highly demanding sector, describing it as a challenge he is eager to embrace.
