The counting of votes in Cyprus’ 2026 parliamentary elections has officially concluded, with 11 parties falling short of the threshold to enter parliament.
According to the final results, the parties that did not secure seats were Edek, which won 3.3% of the vote, Hunters’ Movement with 3.2%, Dipa and Volt Cyprus with 3.1% each, Ecologists’ Movement with 2%, Dek with 0.2%, Sikou Pano! with 0.5%, the Farmers’ Party with 0.3%, Dimal with 0.3%, the Green Party with 0.1%, and the Patriotic Front Lacedemonians with 0.1%.
Disy emerged as the biggest winner, taking 27.1% of the vote and 17 seats, while Akel followed with 23.9% and 15 seats.
Chief Returning Officer Elikkos Elias said that by around 2am, the names of the 56 MPs were expected to be known, though the formal finalisation of the elected lawmakers could take until 3am or 4am.
