A first look at the four major Indian companies set to enter the Cyprus market

Four major Indian companies have announced their deciision to enter the Cyprus market during the roundtable event organised by Invest Cyprus in Mumbai under the auspices of President Nikos Christodoulides, which attracted more than 30 leading Indian corporations.

The four companies planning to invest in Cyprus operate across a broad range of sectors, with projects spanning from a halloumi production facility and the establishment of a university to Bollywood film production.

According to information obtained by InBusinessNews, the companies are SOUKYA International Holistic Health Centre, Dodla Dairy Limited, Canam StudyAbroad and Ishqa, represented by Ms. Anjali Bhushan, whose investment plans in Cyprus had already been publicly announced.

SOUKYA International Holistic Health Centre, a globally recognised wellness destination headquartered in India and active in wellness, medical tourism and holistic healthcare, is exploring opportunities in Cyprus’ wellness tourism and integrated healthcare sectors. The company is reportedly planning investments estimated at €35 million.

Dodla Dairy Limited, an Indian publicly listed dairy company engaged in the procurement, processing and distribution of milk and dairy products, with a strong presence in southern India, is said to be considering the acquisition of a farm and a halloumi production facility in Cyprus. At the same time, it is also examining the establishment of a family office structure on the island.

Meanwhile, Canam StudyAbroad, part of India-based Canam Consultants ,an international education consultancy specialising in student recruitment, admissions and visa services for universities in Canada, Europe and other regions, is considering the establishment of a technology-focused university in Cyprus. The projected investment is estimated at approximately €35 million.

Ishqa and Ms. Anjali Bhushan also announced that the company submitted an application in May 2026 for filming permits in Cyprus. If approved, the production will mark the first Bollywood film ever to be shot in Cyprus.
