MANA Women's Charity Association grants use of its privately owned building to “Hope For Children” CRC Policy Center

'Hope For Children' CRC Policy Center is pleased to announce an important development that will further strengthen and expand its work in Cyprus.

As part of a meaningful collaboration with the MANA Women's Charity Association, the Association has granted the use of its privately owned building located in the area of Agios Andreas in Nicosia, with the aim of establishing a new, modern Counseling Center for families and children.

This development marks a significant milestone for Hope For Children, as it creates the conditions for the further development of specialised support services for children, parents, and families in need. The new center will be designed to provide a safe, welcoming, and professionally staffed environment, with the goal of empowering families and promoting the mental and social well-being of children.

The Organisation will undertake the renovation and full refurbishment of the building to ensure that the space fully meets the needs of the services to be provided.

The Executive Director of the Organisation, Andria Neocleous, stated, "The granting of this space by the 'MANA' Association is an act of trust and social responsibility of great value to our organisation. It is a landmark development that significantly strengthens our mission and enables us to expand our work for the benefit of even more children and families. We are deeply grateful for this collaboration, which is built on shared values, a shared vision, and a common commitment to the protection and well-being of children."

The President of the MANA Women's Charity Association, Kaiti Rologi, stated, "For the 'MANA' Association, the protection and well-being of children have been at the heart of our mission for more than nine decades. Our collaboration with Hope For Children is a natural continuation of this long-standing journey of service and social responsibility. Through this collaboration, we wish to make a meaningful contribution to the creation of a structure that will provide support and guidance to children and families in need."

'Hope For Children' CRC Policy Center extends its sincere gratitude to the MANA Women's Charity Association for its trust and support, recognising its longstanding and invaluable contribution to Cypriot society.

This collaboration marks the beginning of a new chapter for both organisations, united by a common goal: to create meaningful support structures that will have a real and lasting impact on the lives of children and their families.

About MANA Women's Charity Association:

The MANA Women’s Charity Association was founded in March 1933 by a dynamic group of women in Nicosia, driven by a vision and a mission to support working mothers. One year later, in 1934, despite challenging circumstances and significant difficulties, they brought their pioneering idea to life by establishing the first MANA Kindergarten, initially welcoming 20 children. They provided underprivileged working Cypriot mothers with a safe and trusted environment where they could leave their children while at work. The kindergarten operated as a full-day school, offering children warmth, love, care, education, and nutrition.

The establishment of the MANA Kindergarten marked an important milestone in the history of Cyprus, and the vision of its founders has been passed on to subsequent generations, who have continued their work with remarkable dedication and commitment. This year marks 93 years of the MANA Kindergarten’s operation. Throughout the years, each Board of Directors has made tireless efforts to maintain the highest standards of care, safety, and the protection of children's rights.
