The project to upgrade the Larnaca marina and port is being transferred in its entirety to the Ports Authority, as announced by the Minister of Transport, Communications and Works, Alexis Vafeades.
Following a meeting held on Friday morning at the Presidential Palace, in the presence of the President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, the Larnaca District Local Government Organisation and the Mayor of Larnaca, as well as the Larnaca Chamber of Commerce & Industry, the Port Authority will undertake the upgrade of the port, the marina and the port's land works.
The Authority is tasked with presenting a roadmap by 30 June.
