Hermes Airports: Cyprus' air connectivity with Europe has been restored

Hermes Airports has informed the travelling public that Cyprus’ air connectivity with Europe has been restored, as several flights that were temporarily suspended due to the situation in the Middle East resumed operations in the past few days, strengthening connectivity at the two airports of the Republic of Cyprus.

According to an announcement from the airport managers, "Specifically, airlines of the Lufthansa Group (Lufthansa, Austrian, Edelweiss, Eurowings), as well as British Airways, easyJet and Transavia, have resumed their flights to and from Larnaka and Pafos airports."

In addition, as of Saturday, 7 March Emirates has resumed the Larnaka–Dubai route, operating on a daily basis.

"It is worth noting that today, 9 March, based on airline schedules at this point in time, a total of 102 flights are expected to operate at Larnaka Airport and 36 flights at Pafos Airport," the announcement continued. 

More specifically, the two airports currently offer direct connections to/from the following countries, served by the airlines listed below:

United Kingdom – Wizz Air, British Airways, easyJet.

Greece - Aegean, Sky Express, Cyprus Airways, Wizz Air.

Poland – Lot, Wizz Air.

Germany – easyJet, Eurowings, Lufthansa.

All of Italy – easyJet, Transavia.

Austria – Ryanair, Austrian Airlines.

Serbia – Air Serbia, Wizz Air.

Bulgaria – Wizz Air.
