Invest Cyprus and the Chief Scientist presented a commemorative plaque to NCR Atleos, during the official ceremony marking the company’s 70th anniversary since its establishment in Cyprus.
The event took place on 25 February 2026, recognising NCR Atleos’ longstanding contribution to the country’s development and to Cyprus’ emergence as a regional business hub.
NCR Atleos, headquartered in the United States, has been operating in Cyprus since 1956, maintaining its regional headquarters in Nicosia, which oversee activities across Africa and the Middle East. The company’s presence is characterised by continuous investment in human capital and the delivery of cutting-edge technology solutions, significantly strengthening the country’s GDP.
During the presentation of the commemorative plaque, in the presence of the Chief Scientist, Demetris Skourides, the CEO of Invest Cyprus, Marios Tannousis, stated, “NCR Atleos is the ideal example of Cyprus’ successful connection with American entrepreneurship. As Invest Cyprus’ global roadshow for 2026 also includes the United States, NCR’s story in Cyprus is the strongest proof that our country is the ideal destination for long-term strategic investments. Today, we honour a company that did not simply invest capital, but trusted the talent of Cypriots and the stability of our economy for seven decades.”

The event was attended by a large number of representatives from Cyprus’ political and business communities, highlighting the strong ties between the two organisations and their shared commitment to a sustainable and technologically advanced future.
